The Manhattan Start Academy’s mission is to “support and empower” children with special needs. Therefore, the design team paid careful consideration to lighting, surface materials, noise reduction, and acoustic and visible privacy. Dagher Engineering provided building systems engineering designs for the fitout of this 10,000 sf existing educational facility that serves children ages 5 – 12.
