KATONAH MUSEUM OF ART, KATONAH, NY

After developing an extensive facilities master plan, the museum retained a team to provide a design approch for the modernization of the building. The plan included increasing energy
efficiency and LEED certification to introduce the museum as a leader in sustainable technologies.

The design for the renovations include commissioning of current building systems, installation of a geothermal cooling system, efficient lighting, the addition of on-site photovoltaic power generation, increased controllability of building systems, and occupant education for energy
reduction practices.
