Dagher Engineering PLLC

148 Lafayette

Lafayette 148 | New York, NY

Originally construction in 1913 as an industrial manufacturing building, 148 Lafayette was in need of a major retrofit. The building was entirely gut-renovated to modernize its electro-mechanical systems, achieve LEED Gold certification, and provide Class-A tenant space for showrooms and offices. Dagher Engineering worked closely with COOKFOX on restoring the façade, implementing state-of-the-art heating and air conditioning, and replacing restrooms, windows, and elevators. While we were only engaged for the “core and shell” design, many of the building’s tenants engaged Dagher for the full fitout of their commercial and office spaces. Tenants and the building staff were provided with “sustainable tenant guidelines” to maintain the building’s green integrity.
